Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for many years. Most famously, he is famous for his roles played in "Law and Order Special Victims Unit". Since his time in college, Christopher Meloni has been interested in the acting world. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies as well as on TV, it is the characters portrayed on small screens that have given him popularity. He's been able easily play characters from both sides of the law and grab the audience's interest. His first television show, he was the role of a serial killer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD Investigator. For his performances on small screens, he's received many nominations for highly coveted Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes, which have become a signature and helped portray tough characters with charisma. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured the actor.
